TFI Private Webinar Series

TFI’s Private Webinar Series is the ideal venue through which companies can provide employees with succinct training on key topics in global trade. The sessions consist of 90-minute classes on Incoterms 2000, Exporting From the U.S., Importing Into the U.S. and Importer Security Filing 10+2. Purchased individually or offered in bundles, this training series optimizes the investment in employees’ time while delivering information that will make companies both compliant and competitive on the international stage.

The pre-paid charge for each session is $100 per attendee, with a 3-student minimum per webinar. Because these are private, company-specific classes the audio feature is not muted and all participants can ask live questions, as well as discuss issues amongst themselves. As a supplement to each webinar, participants are entitled to a 5-business day FAQ period after the initial class. Also, private sessions entitle the contracting company to a hard copy of the presentation.

Quantity discounts are available for companies that wish to purchase more than one class and a price ceiling will be applied to single sessions with a large group (more than 10 attendees). Sometime in 2008 U.S. Customs & Border Protection will enact its Importer Security Filing 10+2. This filing requires companies and carriers that import into the U.S. via ocean freight to electronically provide ten and two data elements (respectively) prior to vessel loading at origin and arrival at destination.
